Can I put bluebot outside?

Yes.

The bluebot device can be placed outside in the open, exposed to the elements. It can also be placed inside of an irrigation box/in the ground. 

Outdoor Rated 

The bluebot device is IP67/NEMA6 rated by design, and all internals have a conformal coating on the electronics which make them resistant to water and condensation. We do not recommend submerging your bluebot in water, but it will operate as intended when placed outdoors near the main shutoff, or within an irrigation box. Outdoor placement is covered in our 1-year warranty. 

Operating Specifications

The bluebot device operating temperature specifications are 32° F (0° C) to 122° F (50° C). 

For colder environments, you can place insulation around the installed bluebot to keep the bluebot protected from below-freezing temperatures. Similar to how you insulate your pipe, you can also cover the bluebot.
