How to convert your downloaded CSV file into a graph

Modified on Wed, Oct 9 at 4:02 PM

  1.  Download the month CSV file using your mobile phone(instead of flow dash, this is for formatting reasons).
  2.  Email the file to yourself so you can open the file on a computer.  Go to your computer and download the file.
  3.  Open Excel or google sheets.
  4. Select file then select import.  Select upload file and find the CSV file, import it.
  5. There will be a list of dates and amounts.
  6. Right click or double Click the number 1 next to the date column and select view more actions and select freeze row.
  7. Select all of row A and click formatting from the top menu and select numbers then date.
  8. Select both rows A and B and select from the tool bar a little icon that looks like a chart.  it should say insert chart if you hover over it.
  9. Lastly you will want to create a total for the amount of gallons used so using the sum tool from the tool bar select a cell you want to show the total amount of gallons used that month and then multiple the total by the cost per gallon rate.
  10. You can download and email a copy to you tenants or make some small formatting changes and print the form out.
